 How you have helped GAFFI so far? What has been already done:
- There has been a preliminary study of the mycosis prevalence in Uzbekistan with use of the LIFE program - article.
- The testing of infectious agents -  candidosis and aspegillosis to the modern antifungal preparations in vitro has been begun.
- The trial has been begun of the serological test-systems for the diagnosis of the deep mycoses, induced by Candida, Aspergillus and Cryptococcus neoformans, kindly presented by the company Bio-Rad (США).
- This year three articles have been written on mycoses where the organizations  GAFFI and LIFE are also mentioned.

 Personal comment on the major needs in Republic of Uzbekistan which GAFFI should be addressing: - At present time there has been absent unified coordination-methodical center studying mycosis in Uzbekistan, that leads to lack of unified  standard approaches to the identification, isolation and testing of the selected infectious agents to antimycotics that complicates performance of the effective etiotropic therapy. 
- There have been serious difficulties in the access to specialized culture medium, diagnostic test-systems and diagnostic disks with antifungals.  
The drug voriconazole has not been registered in Uzbekistan, so there have been some difficulties in the performance of therapy for aspergillosis and other deep mycoses.
- There has been noted an obvious deficit in the  number of qualified specialists-mycologists.
